Student Right to Know

The University of Virginia complies with the Student Right to Know and Campus Security Act. Security information is available to you as a potential employee through the University of Virginia Police Department. This information includes crime statistics for the University and for the off-campus property of recognized student organizations. It includes policies on firearms, alcohol, illegal substances, access to campus facilities, crime and emergency reporting, and sexual assault prevention. It also includes descriptions of police authority, and the type and frequency of crime prevention programs, as well as drug and alcohol education and abuse programs. Procedure for University disciplinary proceedings and for reporting sexual assaults is included.
