 Gary Helmuth
Gary joined University Human Resources in October 1999 and became a member of the Executive Management Search Group in the summer of 2006. As the Director of the Executive Management Search Group, Gary takes the lead role in developing and executing strategic recruiting initiatives, business development/outreach efforts and working with key UHR leaders to prioritize decisions on the strategic value of opportunities, projects and clients.
Gary brings 11 years of progressively responsible Human Resource experience to University Human Resources. Gary’s prior career experience in the field was spent as the Director of HR Information Management & Technology, Director of Human Resources at a national mental health facility and a member of the senior recruitment team of a world leader in human resource solutions that provided comprehensive service offerings to include outsourcing, executive recruitment, outplacement, training and consulting.
Gary is currently working toward his Master's degree in Business Administration at Averett University and holds a B.S. degree in Sociology from Eastern Mennonite University.
Gary enjoys spending time with his family, two dogs and a cat. Gary is a true outdoorsman at heart and most weekends he's found spending time in the outdoors. Being from Ohio Gary does not miss a chance to cheer on his Cleveland Indians during the major league baseball season.

 Emily Kozuch
Emily Kozuch is a Senior Executive Recruiter within the Executive Management Search Group.
Emily joined EMSG in 2003 after working in the Temp Services department of Recruitment and Staffing. Emily first joined HR during college working for various departments such as the Chief Human Resources Office and Benefits. Through these positions she was introduced to the University community and Charlottesville. Emily’s first role within EMSG was as the main researcher to attract top candidates from peer institutions. She has since become a Senior Recruiter assisting departments throughout the University with their searches for key positions.
As a member of the team, Emily assists with writing and placing advertisements, recruiting top professionals across the country, and arranging on Grounds visits of finalists. Emily’s main area of focus was Facilities Management helping to place 20 new hires in Project and Construction Management positions.
You are likely to find Emily cheering on the University of Virginia football, basketball, and baseball teams. She also enjoys the Pittsburgh Steelers and a variety of Major League Baseball teams. Emily has a black lab mix, Tyler, and a German Shepherd, Tj, that she spoils quite often.
Emily has a BS in Psychology from Longwood University. Emily became a member of Zeta Tau Alpha fraternity while she was at Longwood.

Jon Williams 
As a Senior Executive Recruiter and member of the Executive Management Search Group (EMSG) team at the University of Virginia, Jon assists areas within the University of Virginia in filling open positions. In his role he helps customers by providing strategic recruitment support, assisting with the interview process, and working with the applicants directly in making the recruitment of candidates run as smoothly as possible.
Before becoming a part of the EMSG team, Jon was with two global technology companies that served both government and commercial customers. Jon was a Recruiting Manager for one company and before that Jon was a Senior Technical Recruiter with the other company. He worked in the satellite imagery business for many years before he became a part of the HR profession.
Jon has a BA from the College of William and Mary and a MA from Marymount University. His interests include spending time with family, playing sports, genealogy, and cheering on a baseball team from Boston.
Jon enjoys working with people and hopefully he will have an opportunity to work with you along with the very enthusiastic EMSG team.

Charlotte Albright
Charlotte works as an executive recruiter coordinating all aspects of the recruitment and hiring process. She works with departments and schools to develop strategic marketing and advertising campaigns and conducts extensive market research to recruit strong candidates.
Prior to joining the Executive Management Search Group in August 2006, Charlotte worked as a human resources representative for the University Libraries at Emory University in Atlanta. Charlotte earned a BA degree in Industrial Relations & Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Charlotte enjoys hiking, biking, kayaking, and cheering for the Tar Heels.

 Meredith Manson
Meredith is the newest member of the Executive Search Management Group, joining the team in March 2007. As an Executive Recruiter, Meredith manages all aspects of the recruitment and hiring process. In addition, she conducts extensive market research to ensure EMSG recruits first-rate candidates.
Before joining the Executive Search Management Group, Meredith worked as a Campus Recruiter for SNL Financial also located in Charlottesville, VA. There she was responsible for the college recruitment program as well as the summer intern program.
Meredith received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia, and is a devoted Wahoo! Meredith also enjoys trips to the beach, walks with her dog, Tucker, and spending time with friends and family.
